Kathy creates a variety of art, working in stained glass, glass slumping and sandblasted projects, fleece throws, pottery, and willow furniture. Kathy’s stained glass windows are installed in churches in Windsor and art works are found across Canada and Europe. Kathy is also the fabric distributor for crocheted rugs. You can crochet fabric strips into rugs, chair pads, wreaths, you name it, using only 2 basic stitches.
Judy is an accomplished artist in pen and ink. Given a photograph of a pet, she can easily render it in pen and ink capturing not only a precise likeness but also the spirit of the animal. Judy is also a card maker and painter. She designs and makes her own paper and recently showed her acrylic and watercolour paintings in 2 art shows in Grey County. They both enjoy chip carving, an old German decorative art form in which specific chips of wood are removed. They will be in studio tours this fall.
